Welcome to the DG SDA My Healthy LifeStyle web site. This web site provides access to the presentations, recipes, and resources associated with the My Healthy LifeStyle group meetings held at the Downers Grove IL SDA church (Lee at Maple) the second Saturday of each month (with a few exceptions). It is our desire to become happier and healthier through nutrition, fitness, and friendship. We welcome everyone to join us!
Our meetings include one or more presentations, demonstrations, followed by an informal meet and greet with healthy vegan and vegetarian foods to sample and enjoy. Downers Grove SDA Church is hosting their annual food fair in their Fellowship Hall the second Saturday of February (our evening), so we will join them with a booth (or two) of our own, demonstrating and selling healthly foods! And some that are perhaps not so healthy. This is always a great event, tons of vegetarian food from all over the world! Please come and join us and bring a friend! Oh, and if you feel so compelled, share a vegetarian dish or baked item!
