Jack demonstrated using the food processor to make bread (pizza dough), pie dough, pasta dough, and to slice and grate vegetables quickly and safely. Jack also demonstrated the use of a kitchen mandoline to slice a variety of vegetables. We also rolled out pie crusts and made fettucine noodles using an inexpensive pasta maker. The goal was to show that even busy families can prepare wholesome fresh meals quickly!We then ate the food we prepared and socialized, always the best part of the evening! Oh, and we also had a quick discussion regarding calories, some of which is documented in the October recipe booklet.

The November meeting will be conducted by Ruby Minisee. Ruby is a certified raw chef, and is just a fabulously engaging and talented raw food chef! Please plan on attending and invite your friends. We will meet the Second Saturday of November, November 8!
