I sold my '79 Strat to pay off two acoustics and buy the '06 Strat. It was a good deal for me because I really wanted the acoustics, but the '06 Strat does not come close to matching the '79 Strat in sound, playability, staying in tune, etc. Oh well... ![]() Our new Alvarez Classical. ![]() Our cheap Rondo bass. What a killer axe for only $109!! As you probably can tell, I don't mind inexpensive guitars.
