Step 2:
Using the guide rail stop that comes with the OF 1000 router, I attached the router to the guide rail. The sliding black plastic foot supports the side of the router not supported by the guide rail--simple and effective. I adjusted the router's depth of cut to match the tenon of the stretcher workpiece. There are several ways to do this. In this case I plunged the cutter to rest on top of the workpiece and set the stop rod by inserting reference bar of the desired depth of cut between the stop bar and one of the turret stops.
